Functional Civil War Canteen - Stainless Steel with Canvas Carrying Strap is a usable US Civil War Reproduction Canteen. Each canteen is made from stainless steel, soldered with lead free food safe solder, and covered with wool cloth. Comes complete with ¾ inch heavy duty cloth carrying strap that wraps around the canteen. Includes cork stopper with a metal cap that is attached to the canteen with a chain. These types of canteens were used on both sides during the Civil War and are available in Blue or Grey.
